I am Lee Bok Hyeong, Chairperson of the Jeongeup City Council.
My sincere thanks to the citizens visiting the Jeongeup City Council website.

The Jeongeup City Council is the chamber of the people’s will, speaking for citizens and crafting policies that improve citizens’ lives.
We believe the council’s role is to listen to citizens’ voices, examine the budget and administration responsibly, and do its utmost for the region’s future.

The 10th Jeongeup City Council will build a fair, responsible council that stands with its citizens.
We will not stop at checking the executive branch: we will propose reasonable alternatives and work to craft policies and ordinances that provide real help in citizens’ lives.
We will also be the first to visit the field, communicate with citizens, and always carry out our legislative work from the citizens’ standpoint.

The Jeongeup City Council will continue to listen to citizens’ opinions with an open mind,
and build a better future for Jeongeup together with citizens through ever more transparent and responsible legislative activities.

Citizens’ interest and participation are the greatest force driving Jeongeup’s development. We will always listen closely to the valuable opinions you send us, and do our utmost to be a trusted council that lives up to citizens’ expectations.
